Ron Wada’s experience and knowledge in the beauty industry spans over two decades. His first introduction in the beauty industry started with AVEDA.  As a Salon Business Consultant & Educator, his achievements honored him with a TWO-TIME National Award at Congress Festival receiving that recognition from the creator of AVEDA himself, Mr. Horst Rechelbacher in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  His skills rest not only in his knowledge with Cosmetology, but spans to Professional Make-Up, Esthetic’s Facial & Body Treatments, and Aromatherapy Manicures & Pedicure Treatments. 

His knowledge of Marketing, Distribution, and Business Building brought him to another endeavor, owning a Beauty Distributorship. He was the Co-Founder and owner of BSH - Beauty Solutions Hawaii, LLC, a successful distributor of Keratin Treatments. While negotiating and securing the Exclusive Distributor Contract in Hawaii, he then spearheaded the launch of BSH and his practices are still in use today. 

It’s not surprising Ron chose to tackle arguably the most difficult skill in all of the Beauty Industry – MASTERING the ART of SHEAR REPAIR & SHARPENING. Actually, this was a natural progression for Ron because his father owned an Auto Part Store and Machine Shop for 35 years (Rosecrans Auto Parts, Inc. in Hawthorne, California). At 5 years old, Ron would go to his father’s store sweeping the floor and basically getting dirty. However, Ron’s strong interest in ALL things mechanical since birth, he put his attention and natural skills in his father’s Machine Shop. By the ripe age of 12 years old, Ron became one of the Head Machinist in his fathers Store, working everyday during the summer months and on weekends between his school schedule… Ron was born to do and create things with his hands.

Ron has been Japanese Trained by Mr. Kyoto Takahashi, Master Sharpener from Japan. However he continues to be mentored by the most well-known and respected sharpener in the United States. Ron’s next greatest challenge? … To take his skills to the Hawaiian Island to Repair and Sharpen the BEST MADE shears in the WORLD! The likes of Mizutani, Hikari, Matsuzaki, Kasho, Yasaka, Nics’, and more…You see, in Hawaii the influence of Japanese Hair Stylist, Techniques, and Japanese Made Shears are hugely dominant. Not only Stylist from Asia, more recently European Stylist have made their mark on Paradise.
